Luisine – Two Dots

Britta Johnson (video director for Andrew Bird, among others) brings Lusine gorgeous single Two Dots to life, illustrating the songs relationships-as-trigonometry analogy in an intricately animated video. In the clip, a pair of marbles—one blue, one yellow—engage in the timeless dance of seduction on a horizontal plain, mapping the ups and downs of a courtship through pencil-drawn geometric principles. Like Two Dots, Johnsons video lives in the middle ground between technology and humanity, emotional immediacy and obsessive detail.
This song happened almost unnoticed when it was launched in mid-2009, until Nic Fanciulli realize an excellent and powerful remix without losing the sweetness and subtlety of the original version.

There is a question by the people who is very common and closely follows to all Djs:

who is your best dj?

In my case the answer is riddled with legendary names like Paul Van Dyk, Mr Cox, Greg Wilson, Argentine DJs like Carlos Alfonsin, Juan Pablo Firter the mythic Hernan Cattaneo, Dero, etc.etc. But there is a DJ whom i met personally by the year 2004 and he caused on my, healthy envy and admiration for her great act with the turntables and their wonderfull Dj performances, ladies and gentlemen, I present to Juan Pablo Sgalia , a DJ with a successfully career.

For those in the city of San Juan – Argentina on 13 February, i invite to an exciting night that will again have the honor of sharing a cabin with this great Dj in the summer club APTKO

Felix & his machines

Felix’s Machines are music sculptures created by Felix Thorn. They were constructed in his bedroom and exist to facilitate music by translating rhythmic audio structures into a three-dimensional visual show.
They function as musical instruments as well as kinetic sculptures. The Machines are a performance device, but can be well suited to act as an art installation, theatre accompaniment, or standalone sculpture.

This video, which is just a bit dated, takes a look at astrophysicist and musician Dr. Fiorella Terenzi who “writes and performs sensual computer-generated music.”
Terenzi is another story, though, discussing using radio telescopes to capture the “songs” of celestial objects, shifting the frequencies to audible range.

“Do not spend more time trying to write new tunes, all you need is a giant radio telescope on your home to get instant galatic inspiration”……..
